Silent illustrations about a whale

"Evelina's work is strong in that the author managed to convey a smooth narrative, it is well expressed emotionally, and if you are affected, the story can be read without text. The work is harmonious, constructive and sensitive," says commission member Agnė Dautartaitė-Krutulė.

The illustrations "The Little Whale Who Wanted to Learn to Fly" were submitted for an illustrators' competition organized by the "Balta Lanka" publishing house. The aim of the competition was to submit four illustrations that would tell a story without text.

This is how the illustrations for the second-place winning whale story were born.
